Guidelines for Abstract Submission

  1. The presenting author must ensure that all co-authors are aware of and have approved the content of the abstract before submission.
  2. Abstracts that have been previously presented or published will not be accepted.
  3. Multiple abstract submissions are permitted. However, if selected, only one Oral Presentation may be permitted to the same presenting author, subject to the decision of the Scientific Committee.
  4. Only standard abbreviations should be used. Any uncommon abbreviation must be written in full when first mentioned, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses.
  5. Registration at the time of abstract submission is not mandatory. However, once the abstract is accepted, the presenting author must register for the conference within the stipulated period communicated by the Organising Committee.
  6. Failure to complete registration within the stipulated period may result in the abstract not being considered for presentation.
  7. Accepted E-Posters will be displayed on electronic screens during the conference. Authors must follow the prescribed E-Poster submission guidelines.
  8. Postgraduate students must upload a valid Bonafide Certificate along with their abstract submission.
  9. Presentations will be assessed based on quality, scientific content, originality, relevance, presentation and adherence to the prescribed rules and allotted time.

E-Poster Specifications

  • E-Posters will be displayed on electronic screens.
  • File format should be PowerPoint (.PPT / .PPTX).
  • Total file size should not exceed 5 MB.
  • Only one slide per E-Poster is permitted.
  • Use the official template provided by the Organising Committee.
  • Animations, movies and audio will not be supported.

E-Poster Design Guidelines

  • Follow the official E-Poster format.
  • Include Presenter Name, Poster Title and E-Poster Number.
  • Keep the poster self-explanatory and well organised.
  • Use clear and concise text.
  • Recommended minimum font size: 14 points.
  • Use simple and readable fonts.
  • Ensure images, graphs and tables are clear and labelled.

Important Information

  • Submission of an abstract does not guarantee acceptance for presentation.
  • The Scientific Committee reserves the right to accept, reject or change the category of presentation.
  • An Oral Presentation may be converted to an E-Poster presentation depending on scientific merit and programme requirements.
  • The decision of the Scientific Committee and judges shall be final.
  • Detailed instructions for accepted abstracts and presentations will be communicated to the presenting author.
